Simon Grove is a 29 year-old bass player from Sydney, Australia. In the past 16 years that Simon has been playing bass, he studied at the Australian Institute Of Music (AIM) where he received a Bachelor Of Contemporary Music. During his time at AIM, Simon began working on several musical projects such as The Helix Nebula and later, Instrumental (adj).
Simon soon began to grow a strong passion for music production, and started to produce bands and artists part-time while also working as a private music tutor, teaching students of all ages and skill levels. After doing this for several years, he began getting a lot of work as a session bass player for Australian guitarist Plini as well as other acts in the progressive metal scene. This quickly required his full attention and he decided to step away from teaching to tour and produce music full-time. Since then Simon has toured the world playing bass for Plini (Australia), Nick Johnston (Canada), David Maxim Micic (Serbia), Intervals (Canada) and more. He has also produced music for artists such as Plini, Owane, Intervals, The Helix Nebula, Scoredatura, Instrumental (adj.) and others.
